WOOD CHIPS FOR BIOMASS
The results of timber harvested in forest areas, both natural and plantation forests, still leave wood waste. Wood waste is generally left in the forest. The Forest Farmers Group Cooperative uses it as fuel wood or raw material for biomass energy, from trees that are cut, namely wood up to 30 cm in diameter and added from fallen stands that have been felled by trees. With existing technology, the waste is processed into wood chips (chips) using a chipper machine. . Wood chip manufacturing activities will increase added value, wood processing efficiency, employment opportunities and community income.
